Are you our next Director, Clinical Quality Data Analyst?  


In this role, the Director is responsible for the analysis of clinical quality data sets to identify clinical quality trends and issues, and direct strategies to improve beneficiaries' clinical markers. This position is responsible for coordination with Data Management and vendors to ensure accuracy of medical management reports and with Provider Services to build scorecards.


TriWest Director, Clinical Quality Data Analyst: 

  • Direct and lead the Clinical Quality data analysis processes and department's initiatives to support TriWest's mission, strategic and operational plans, and contract performance requirements
  • Conduct Quality and Patient Safety Improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Quality team to assist with implementation of initiatives as well as corrective action plans from findings.
  • Develop methods for consistency and validity and review the accuracy of data and reports.
  • Collaborate with Provider Services to build scorecards and with various sources for data and reporting. Be a change leader to promote the development and integration of systems thinking, customer focus and use of improvement tools.
  • Promote quality concepts for problem identification, investigation, and resolution.
  • Supports the company’s quality program including monitoring, trending and reporting quality metrics, development of analysis and reports for quality meetings, and supporting accreditation and certification efforts.
  • Participates in work process redesign efforts.
  • Functions as a key resource for department-level quality planning and management, performance improvement, workflow management, and re-engineering efforts.
  • Supervises staff to include training, work assignments, coaching, and preparation of annual performance evaluations and development plans for assigned staff.
  • Serves on cross-functional committees as the voice for TriWest's quality program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.


Are you qualified?  



  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Statistics or applicable discipline
  • Clinical licensure such as RN, PA or NP
  • A minimum of five years senior management, increasingly responsible experience in health care organization or managed care organization
  • Experience with health management systems, collection and analysis of large health care data sets and developing initiatives to improve quality or patient safety
  • Experience and knowledge of government health care programs, and Medicare/Medicaid
  • Familiar with coding methods and guidelines (CPT, ICD, HCPCS, POS, DRG, Revenue)


  • Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Business Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or applicable discipline
  • Experience and knowledge of the Veterans Affairs health care system and Department of Defense military healthcare system
